A 19th century, French, Louis XVI style chimneypiece in grey veined Carrara marble. The rectangular shelf protrudes over the jambs; the frieze has a fielded panel carved with a Vitruvian scroll centred with an Acanthus spray, the end blockings with flowering Acanthus. The sides with fielded panels.
