A rare late 18th Century, Gothic Revival, Bath stone chimneypiece. The moulded shelf, serpentine in shape at the centre, terminates over the jambs into quatrefoils, with deep arched cusps. The frieze above the shoulders of the aperture decorated at an angle with quatrefoils within circles. The quatrefoiled shaped jambs inset with panels terminating with trefoils decorated with oak leaves. The whole supported on cusped plinth blocks.
