A rare Geo. III Carrara marble and porphyry chimneypiece. The moulded rectangular shelf above a porphyry inlaid frieze outlined with gilded brass moulding and flanked by rectangular jambs with inset porphyry panels, outlined with gilded brass and beneath finely carved Bucranium masks draped with husks. Late 18th Century Circa 1780.
